Presenter bio: Ashland native Linda Reaves attended Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi, majoring in Art Appreciation and Science. Reaves has a love for people, a gift to gab, and a passion for the Art. Reaves has researched her family history dating back to the late 1700's and from the rubble of time authored two books: The Pig is in My Mouth, In Memory of Beatrice Reaves, and Threads to Which I Belong. Linda Reaves is in the business of helping aspiring authors reach their goals to becoming a published author; from drafting the first line, to obtaining an ISBN number, editing, and formatting to successfully becoming a published author. Reaves is a volunteer for the Tennessee Genealogical Society and former Freelance Writer for the Germantown News. She is the 2nd Generation Family Historian.
When Linda isn't sitting in front of the computer, penning a manuscript, or writing a poem, she is standing or sitting in front of a canvas or sketchpad drawing until the break of dawn.
Reaves would like to teach you a few techniques and demonstrations of how to start your journey to drawing with acrylic paints to pastels or pencils. Start April with a new gift of Art.
