Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Learn to Play Bridge: Basic Bidding & Play

Instructor: Diane Dillman

Fee: $100 includes cost of text.

This class is for beginners and those who want a refresher in modern bidding. Also, this class introduces participants to the modern concepts of bridge including bidding, defending, and playing a hand. Participants will learn the basics of bidding and a few common bidding conventions. These newly learned skills are put into practice by playing hands each session.
