Day Trip to Morton Museum

Pack a lunch and meet up at the Morton Museum in Collierville, TN to learn about stained glass preservation. Drinks and desserts will be provided.

The Sanctuary in the Morton Museum is home to arched, Gothic Revival stained glass windows original to the 1906 renovation of the building. In honor of the museum's 10th anniversary, join local artist and conservator, Suzie Hendrix, in a discussion about her personal artistic practice, techniques used to preserve historic glass, and the significant role stained glass has played in art history.

This event is free. Participants provide their own transportation. Parking is available. Space is limited, and registration is required. Registration deadline is Thursday, August 11. To register, contact Regina (901) 751-5656 or Regina@Germantown-TN.gov or Sheri (901) 751-5652 or SBancroft@Germanton-TN.gov.
