Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES - BEER PERMITS

  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from Forest Hill Partners LLC to sell beer for on-premise consumption at The Half Shell, located at 9091 Poplar Avenue, Suite 101.
  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from Qia Xing Lin to sell beer for on-premise consumption at Kramen Germantown, Inc., located at 7726 Poplar Avenue.
  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from The Overland LLC to sell beer for on-premise consumption at The Overland, located at 7800 Neshoba Road, Suite 501.
  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from Bobby Lanier Farm Park Inc to sell beer for on-premise consumption at the Harvest Moon Festival, located at 2660 Cross Country.

    These requests will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 6 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Anyone for or against these beer permit requests is invited to attend.
     

CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen welcomes comments from citizens and offers the agenda item known as Citizens to be Heard at each meeting.  To participate, please complete the form provided outside of the Council Chambers and present this form to the City Clerk prior to the meeting.
