Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Back by popular demand! It’s time for Fried Chicken Fest in The Grove. We’re combining world-famous fried chicken with music from James “Super Chikan” Johnson and the River Bluff Clan on the Duncan Williams Asset Management Stage, plus special activities for the whole family. Join us for lawn games, drink specials on the First Horizon Foundation Plaza, and a completely unique experience.
