Paws 4 A Cause
It’s a celebration of all things dog! Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Saddle Creek; there will be a massive pet adoption event by a myriad of Midsouth rescue agencies, including the Germantown Animal Shelter. There will also be a lot of activities to enjoy with the dogs you already have.
Paws 4 A Cause offers carnival games; exhibits and demonstrations by dog-centric organizations; pet-themed artists; lots of puppy treats, and our annual Celebrity Pet Wash. Your pup can enjoy a spa-treatment at the hands of local Media Celebrities! (Celebrity Pet wash is a $10 minimum donation, with all the proceeds to be split among our participating rescue organizations). Celebrity Pet Washers include on-air talent from local TV & Radio stations, as well as members of the Germantown Board Mayor and Aldermen.
A number of Saddle Creek merchants also contribute a percentage of their sales towards this fundraising effort. EverEve and Vinyard Vines have committed to contribute a portion of their sales that day toward the 2023 effort. Customers mentioning Paws 4 A Cause will receive a 10% discount on any purchase; plus, another 10% of the sale will be donated to Paws 4 A Cause. This program will run all day on May 13, at EverEve and during a specified three-hour window at Vinyard Vines. Other Saddle Creek stores' participating is expected, as well.
This will be the 10th year that Paws 4 A Cause has taken place at Saddle Creeek. The event has raised thousands of dollars for area pet-rescue organizations, including the Friends of the Germantown Animal Shelter (last year, each participating rescue group received $1,075). Paws 4 A Cause is also responsible for placing dozens of dogs and cats in loving homes.
Saddle Creek's Day of Puppy Pandemonium is sponsored by Memphis Veterinary Specialists, Animal Emergency Center, Hollywood Feed, The Friends of the Germantown Animal Shelter and ArtWorks Foundation. Guests can find Paws 4 A Cause at Saddle Creek North, 7615 West Farmington between Poplar and Germantown Road, on Saturday, May 13, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
