Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Memphis Wind Symphony will perform a variety of uplifting classics and new pieces honoring our country, the inspirational men and women who have served, and those who are serving now. Come enjoy an Earth, Wind and Fire medley, “God of Our Fathers,” a video tribute to December 7, and the Jack Lawrence Songbook along with many other selections. Join MWS for a musical salute to our veterans! Doors open at 1:00 pm. This is a free event.
