Have you ever wanted to be a Ham (amateur) radio operator?
The Germantown Community Library and the Nashoba Amateur Radio Club is offering a free Ham (amateur) radio operator class!!
There is no experience necessary and Morse code is not required.
The class is 7 weeks long and will held on the following dates: Tuesdays 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, Thursdays 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 from 5:30 - 8:30 P.M.  The classes will be held in the Library’s meeting room. 

In the last session, you will take the written exam to get your Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license. There is no charge for the class, but there will be a book required to be purchased prior to class beginning and there are some fees involving the licensing process. Once you have registered for the class we will let you know which book to get. It will cost about $30.
