Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Events and Programs 
The Germantown Parks and Recreation 50+ Coordinator works diligently to plan and coordinate several events and programs throughout the year. For more information about upcoming programs and events, see below or visit Germantown-TN.gov/Calendar.

Brussel’s Bonsai

Fee: $10 per person 

We will meet at Brussel’s Bonsai at 10 a.m. Mr. Brussel will give us a tour of the farm and he will demonstrate how the Art of Bonsai is done. Transportation will not be provided, but the group will stay together during the tour. Space is limited to 15 participants and registration is required. Register at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. You can pay ahead of time by mailing/dropping off a check (payable to City of Germantown) or pay by credit card (no cash) at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street.
