Meet Larry to learn more about his book, A Dog Named Speed. This story is about a dog and his master, a young newspaper boy, growing up together in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. The story is told from the dog's point of view and is interwoven with many exciting adventures, which will keep the reader on pins and needles for the entire read. This is not only a story full of adventure; it is a love story on several fronts. A loving God for his creatures, and the unconditional love between Speed and his master, Babe. A love story develops between Babe and his girlfriend that ends sadly when Babe prepares to leave for college. Speed becomes infatuated with Kate, an Australian shepherd he meets one summer evening.
A Dog Named Speed is packed with excitement but also connects the reader with Biblical scripture, which is sprinkled throughout.
