Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Snakes are a common sight along the Wolf River Greenway, and in many of our parks. Being able to positively identify them can help you control your fear and understand them better. This program will introduce you to some of the most common snakes in our area, help you identify the snakes you have seen, and teach you how they benefit our ecosystem. Space is limited, and registration is required. To register, please go to Germantown-tn.gov/registration.
