It is time to start training for thROWdown Germantown: Rowing for a Reason! In partnership with the Germantown Police Department, the Germantown Athletic Club is hosting this event to benefit Special Olympics Tennessee. The event takes place on Saturday, September 7, registration starts at 8 a.m. and the event kicks off at 9 a.m.

The concept is simple. Teams of 10 compete to complete a 26.2 mile row to support the Special Olympics Tennessee Athletes. Teams can have a maximum of 10 members. Cost per team is $500. The money raised supports more than 18,000 Special Olympics Tennessee athletes and each thROWdown participant will receive a shirt. Prizes will also be awarded for the Fastest Rowing Team, Top Fundraising Team, Top Fundraising Individual
and Most Team Spirit.
