Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Tennessee Genealogical Society, in conjunction with Germantown Regional History and Genealogy Center, offers a series of twelve classes on research techniques. October 7, 7 p.m., Vince Hughes will present "Electronic Conservation of Pictures." At 8:05 p.m., the topic will be "Conserving Original Documents and Ephemera." When appropriate, presenters will demonstrate online research techniques. No pre-registration is required. Call 757-8480 for more information.
