Germantown Parks and Recreation offers family-friendly special events for the community throughout the year. Events and programs are free unless otherwise noted. 50+ Group: Jazz Dance Class

Mondays, October 7, 14, 21 and 28, 1 to 2 p.m. (*Classes build upon each other)
Classes will be held at the Germantown Community Theatre, 3037 Forest Hill Irene Road.
Instructor: Danielle Pierce

Join Collage Dance to learn basic movement and styles of jazz dance in a welcoming, non-competitive environment. The course promotes mind and body wellness and aims to increase muscle strength, joint support and mobility. It also increases cognitive functions such as coordination and concentration. New and returning students are welcome. Jazz shoes are not provided. Participants should wear shoes and clothes that you can comfortably and safely move in. This class is brought to you by Creative Aging. Registration is required.
