Did you know that 70% of adults ages 67 and older will need long term care at some point? Various factors affect the need for long term care, including age, gender, marital status, lifestyle, and heredity. According to the American Alzheimer’s Association, the chance of developing Alzheimer’s with age goes from 1 in 10 at age 65 to nearly 1 in 2 at age 85.
