Locate Fire Stations
Fire fighters respond from four strategically-placed stations located throughout the City.
Station 1 - 2700 Cross Country Drive - This station includes a fire engine company, the fire marshal’s office and the hazardous materials response team. The EMS Chief's office is also located at this station.
Station 2 - 8925 Dogwood Road - This station includes a fire engine company, an ambulance, an air truck and stationary air compressor system. The brush truck is also located at this station.
Station 3 - 7766 Farmington Boulevard - This station includes a fire engine company, truck company, battalion chief and is home to command staff offices. This station also houses two ambulances.
Station 4 - 3031 Forest Hill-Irene Road - The newest of the GFD facilities, this station includes a fire engine company, two ambulances and a classroom for fire training. The mobile command and communications vehicle are also located at this station. The station opened in December of 2011 and is LEED (Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design) Gold certified. A burn building and training grounds are located at the rear of this station.
